On-Tap Trivia is operated by GeeQuiz Limited, a company registered in New Zealand (“we”, “us”, “our”). We respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and disclose it, and the choices you have. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Your name and the name of your pub, club or venue
• Your email address, phone number and business name
• Your venue's time zone, so your pack unlocks at the right time
• Messages you send us through our contact or sample forms
• Billing details, processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe

How We Use Your Information

• To deliver your trivia packs and manage your subscription
• To respond to your questions and provide support
• To send you tips, updates, and offers (you can unsubscribe any time)
• To measure our advertising and improve our website and service

Email Marketing

We use Mailchimp to manage email. When you request a free sample, your details are stored in Mailchimp and you may receive a short series of emails about running trivia nights. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our servers. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the service (such as Stripe, Mailchimp, Google and Meta) and where required or authorised by law.

Overseas Disclosure

We are based in New Zealand, and our service providers store data in other countries, including New Zealand and the United States. Your personal information may be held or processed in those countries. We take reasonable steps to make sure the providers we use handle it in a way that is consistent with the APPs.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, change or disclosure. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires.

Access and Correction

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, at any time by emailing info@ontaptrivia.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, email us first at info@ontaptrivia.com.au and we will look into it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
