What a Real Pack Looks Like
A list of questions is a start. A trivia night also needs slides on the screen, something for teams to write on, and a host who knows the answers. That is what arrives every Monday.
The Answer Booklet
Each team gets its own printed Answer Booklet. It has a title page, a page for each of the five rounds of ten questions, and a notes page at the back. Teams write their answers in it, and your staff collect and mark the booklets against the Host Q & A Sheet while the host keeps the room going.
Print one for each team before the night, put pens on the tables, and you are ready.
Real slides from a recent pack. Tap one to see it full size.
Trivia Slides
A PowerPoint of five rounds of ten questions, with Bonus Baffler clues at the end of each round.
Host Q & A Sheet
Every question and answer, plus extra information and helpful hints for whoever is on the mic.
Answer Booklets
A printable PDF booklet for each team: a title page, a page for each round, and a notes page.
Bonus Game
A fun game to finish the night and get the whole room out of their seats.
A new pack every week is A$49, with no host fee and no lock-in contract. See weekly trivia packs
Four Tips for Your Host
Read each question twice, slowly. The second read is when the room goes quiet.
Mark each round before you start the next, and read the scores out. The leaderboard keeps people in their seats.
Keep phones face down. One rule, stated once at the start, saves a lot of arguments.
Run it on the same night every week. Regulars build their week around it.

Pub Trivia Questions FAQ
Yes. Use them for a trivia night at your pub or club, a staff quiz, or a test run before you commit to a weekly night. If you want a complete night with slides, a Host Q & A Sheet and Answer Booklets ready to print, download two full trivia nights free from On-Tap Trivia.
Most pub trivia nights run five to eight rounds of about ten questions. An On-Tap Trivia pack is five rounds of ten questions, with Bonus Baffler clues at the end of each round and a Bonus Game to finish the night.
A good question has one clear answer, can be read aloud in one breath, and gives most tables a fighting chance. Mix easy openers with a few stumpers in every round. Avoid anything that changes, like this year's premiers or the current Prime Minister, so nobody can argue the answer.
Mostly, yes. Local sport, history, TV and slang get the whole room involved, and nobody has to guess at American trivia. A good night still mixes in world general knowledge, music and film so every table has a round they are confident in.
The Answer Booklet is the printed booklet each team writes its answers in. In an On-Tap Trivia pack it is a printable PDF with a title page, a page for each of the five rounds of ten questions, and a notes page. You print one booklet for each team.
On-Tap Trivia sends Australian pubs and clubs a complete, ready-to-run trivia pack every week: a PowerPoint plus PDFs for the Host Q & A Sheet, Answer Booklets and a poster, and a Bonus Game. Your own team hosts it, so there is no host fee. It is A$49 a week, or A$69 for a single pack.
